Community Services Campaigns 2010-11
Members are active on a number of fronts. The Government is committed to giving all Out of Home Care to the private welfare sector; members have had a victory on the Early Intervention issue where the government has agreed to retain its involvemen; and recently bans have been imposed on recordings at the Helpline. And we expect more.

Better Services for a Better State campaign
The Better Services for a Better State campaign has been through some adjustment since the state elections.
The initial aims of improving services and of opposing cuts and privatisations are still relevant and desirable aims.
The aims of the Better Services Campaign now encompass the campaign to defeat O'Farrell's industrial relations laws and other attacks on public sector employees.
