Parental Leave Offer at Macquarie University

We are close to agreement on a new parental leave package for staff at Macquarie University.
The attached pdf bulletin details our claim and the university's offer made in early March.
On the big item, we have asked for 18 weeks full time pay and 34 week at 60% pay (i.e. about 38 weeks full time equivalent). The university has offered 26 weeks full time which can be made part-time for up to a year. (in comparison, Sydney Uni's offer totaled 37 weeks fulltime equivalent.)
