Workcover bullying survey

Discussion has continued over the past few months in relation to the alarming results returned in the PSA's bullying survey and Workcover's own corporate survey.

The situation also attracted a great deal of media interest and a number of reports have been published criticising Workcover for a culture that allows workplace bullying.

A joint working group has now been established. The PSA has been working hard on various angles to address this issue such as training, policy improvement, issues relating to culture and of course the important risk assessment.

It is expected that valuable lessons learned in this intensive process will assist the whole of the PSA and indeed Workcover, when monitoring such workplace issues.
