Tipstaves’ long service leave

"That the Association file an application to vary the extended leave (long service leave) clause of the Crown Employees (Tipstaves to Justices) Award 2007 when the clause wording has been agreed by the parties."

The Association proposes to make application to vary the Crown Employees (Tipstaves to Justices) Award 2007 to bring the long service leave clause up-to-date. Unfortunately in the s19 award review the parties had not ensured that the wording of this clause reflected current practice, including the enhanced conditions available from the settlement of the PSA's pay claim in 2004.

The Association and the Attorney General's Department are discussing the most appropriate form of words for the new extended leave (long service leave) clause. When agreement has been reached, the Association will lodge the application to vary the award.
