Decision

Report adopted

Report

126 surveys were returned by the closing date of 9 May - 110 from females (approximately 87%) and 16 from males (approximately 13%).

For a detailed analysis of the survey responses please see the PSA submission to the Productivity Commission Inquiry.

All members and potential members who returned the survey have been contacted via email or letter to thank them for their input, advise them of the PSA submission and to encourage them to become involved in our campaign for 6 moths paid parental leave by signing, circulating and returning the UnionsNSW petition in support of 6 months paid parental leave. Potential members have been asked to join and Industrial staff have been advised of the potential members for follow up.

These members and potential members will be contacted by phone in July to follow up on the petition and to ask them to get more involved.

Previous report was Executive Report "PSA survey into paid parental leave"
