PSA Submission on Lifelong Learning Version 2

The PSA has put a further 70 page submission to the DET/TAFE management in response to their revised Lifelong Learning proposal.
We again emphasise the need to retain jobs to do the available work, and provide details of how the proposed cuts will affect particular units within DET and TAFE.
The PSA's submission is the downloadable pdf document below.
Management of DET/TAFE will now consider submissions from the second phase and it is anticipated they will provide a final proposal by the end of November. This will include an implementation timetable and processes.
We expect further details on the corporate services restructure by the end of this week.
