TAFE’s Christmas & New Year Leave Arrangements

Attached below is a short explanation of your rights regarding leave arrangements over the Christmas - New Year period.
There has been some confusion this year because of the Government's wish for people to take leave in this period.
The relevant documents are the
Premiers Memo M2006-13 and Premiers Department Circular C2006-40
There have been discussions between the PSA and Premiers on the subject.
The attached leaflet clarifies the issues raised by members. If you think these conditions are being breached contact your PSA industrial officers or organiser.
